The Pine Mountain Lake Airport will host a Young Eagle Rally on September 24th.
Pilots’ and volunteers will meets at 8:00 AM at the new hangars and flights start at 9 AM.
The Young Eagles program was launched in 1992 by EAA, the Experimental Aircraft Association, based in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Their mission is to provide a meaningful flight experience – free of charge – in a general aviation aircraft for young people (primarily between the ages of 8 and 17.)
According to the organizers, they expect 40-45 kids. If you would like to help, they will need ground volunteers too.
